Royals Come to Ontario

Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Duschess of Cornwall have arrived in Toronto on the second leg of their Canadian tour. They were greeted by Lieutenant Governor David Onley, as the royal couple begins three days of activities in Ontario.

Take Our Kids to Work

There were some young faces at work places across Canada today – including here at /A\ News – for the 15th annual Take Our Kids to Work program.  250,000 Grade 9 students across the country are getting a first hand look at the working world. 

Flu Shots Popular

At the beginning of flu season, public opinion polls found that most Canadians were not planning to get the H1 N1 vaccine, but that's changed, dramatically. The majority of respondants in a new poll by Harris-Decima say they will be getting the flu shot.

Driver Dies

The 63 year old driver of a tractor-trailer that crashed on Highway 400 yesterday has died in Alliston's Hospital. Police are not releasing his name, but do say a heart attack is the likely cause of the accident that saw the rig go across all six lanes of the 400, without hitting another vehicle. The driver was from London, Ontario.
