Headlines for Sunday November 15th
Busy Day for Emergency Crews

Police, fire and rescue crew had a busy Sunday around the region.  In New Tecumseth, an air ambulance was called after a man was stuck in a hole.  He managed to make his own way out, and the air ambulance was not required.  Also today, a car crashed through the front window of a Pizza Pizza restaurant in Alliston.  No one was injured; reports say the driver may have suffered from a medical condition.  In Springwater Township, a woman was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after her car rolled into the ditch on Highway 26 near Golf Course Road.

Hockey Dads Charged

Two hockey dads running late for a hockey tournament didn't make the face off at all.  OPP say they stopped two vehicles just over ten minutes apart on Highway 11 in Oro-Medonte Saturday.  One was going 178 km/h in a 90 zone; the other 142 km/h.  Both vehicles were seized under the street racing law.  Both drivers had children with them.
