The clock is ticking for people who want to take advantage of the home renovation tax credit.  If you are doing any home improvement you have until Sunday night to make your purchases to submit with your 2009 tax return.  Local home improvement stores say business is expected to be brisk all weekend as the deadline looms.

Snowmobiler Critically Injured

A 39 year old Port Sydney man was airlifted to a Toronto hospital after his snowmobile collided with a tree.  Police say the crash occured on an OFSC trail sometime overnight Friday, but he wasn't found until Saturday morning.  His name has not been released.

Ambulances Involved in Collisions

A 53 year old woman was killed after her car collided with an ambulance in Chatsworth Township Saturday morning.  Police say the victim's car crossed the centre line on Highway 6 north of Dornoch and crashed into the ambulance.  Meanwhile, an ambulance was also involved in a multi-vehicle crash outside of Stayner Saturday, but there were only minor injuries in that collision.
