A 57 year old man was killed after his snowmobile hit a tree north of Barrie Saturday.  The crash happened on a trail on Cassell Drive just off of Penetanguishene Road.  It is the third snowmobile fatality in our region in the last three days.

Barrie Winterfest Begins

It's a winter wonderland on Barrie's waterfront as the annual Winterfest celebration gets underway.  There are plenty of activities to take part in all weekend.  The highlight is the polar bear plunge Sunday at noon.

Petitioning for Help

Huntsville councillor Fran Coleman was garnering support for local hospitals today.  Coleman was gathering signatures on a petition asking for financial help from the province for three area hospitals in Muskoka.
