Joined our team in 2005. Jennifer Buchanan has lived in Newmarket Ontario, virtually all of her life. Through the suggestion of her English Teacher who noticed Jennifer's talent for creative writing in High School, Jennifer decided to pursue Journalism and Broadcasting at Fanshawe College in London.
After graduating from Fanshawe in 1990, Jennifer immediately began her career in news on the local radio station CKAN where she worked on the morning news run. It wasn't too long before television came calling and Jennifer made the jump to TV.

Jennifer spends a lot of time with her two young daughters who are both involved in community sports. What I Love About My Job:
"It's always changing and never the same!" I love hearing other people's stories, and then using my creativity to put it into words for television. My friends always say "you've got such a great job"...that's when I say..."you're right!"
