Sports, /A\ News

Like most sport broadcasters, Mark quickly discovered he wasn't good enough to make it on the field and decided to do the next best thing: talk about it on television. He started in the industry at the age of 14 with an internship at TSN. Since then he has worked as a story editor for TSN, a play-by-play commenter for Tennis Canada, and hosted and produced a behind the scenes show for the Toronto Raptors. While attending University, Mark was an integral part of a nationally ranked volleyball team, which included being named captain in his final season.

Why he loves his job:

"When I was young I never wanted to be that person who dreads work the next morning. I certainly don't have to worry about that with this job. I was always the kid who loved to tell everyone last night's scores or what someone's batting average was . So I guess not a whole lot has changed since then except now I get paid to do it!"

Education:

Graduated with a B.A. from Ryerson University's Radio and TV Arts program.
