Trina Maus

Reporter, /A\ News

With a family cottage on Lake Joseph, Trina Maus feels right at home working out of the Muskoka Bureau in Gravenhurst. Although Ontario is home, Trina has worked extensively as a reporter and anchor throughout Canada.

Trina is an award winning journalist, but her achievements don't end there. She won a Canadian Equestrian title and continues to show her horse, Lasting Freedom, affectionately known as Lou, on the local circuit. Trina has also had the honour of competing nationally in softball.

Trina earned a BA in Sociology from the University of Guelph and a diploma in Broadcast Journalism from Seneca College in Toronto. The love of telling a good story is genetic as her grandfather reported from the front lines in World War II for CBC Radio.

Why I love my job.

"I love getting out into the community and meeting new people. I'm always excited to hear and share their stories with our viewers."
