Did You Know...
Bob is a busy man; he's climbed mountains in the Andes in South America and climbed Africa's Mt. Kilimanjaro - 19,000 feet. He has flown with the Snowbirds five times, and in the cockpit of the Concord at more than twice the speed of sound at 55,000 feet. Bob has attended a tea party with Queen Elizabeth II, travelled through 62 countries, (and seen some unbelievable weather!) climbed glaciers and hiked on lava fields. Currently, Bob likes to noodle around the sky in a Cessna 172. Bob has flown in a CF-18 fighter and currently flies a 1943 Tiger Moth Bi-plane(English model)called Audrey for the Collingwood Classic Aircraft foundation. He has also flown a 1946 Fleet Canuck for the foundation. "The Bi-plane is flown just as it was during World War Two, no canopy, no flaps, no brakes off a short grass field. The Tiger Moth was the primary trainer for the Air Commonwealth Training Plan which trained thousands and thousands of pilots. Kinda fun to fly a plane my Dad flew over 65 years ago. In fact ...It's a Blast!!!!”
