Co-Anchor, /A\ News at 6 and /A\ News at 11
Joined CKVR in 1982. Jayne was born in England and came to Canada at age 11. During 1982 and 1992, Jayne hosted daily talk shows, "Good Company" and "Summer Scene". She reported for news between 1992 and 1995, then for her third career became a writer and producer in the Promotions Department. Jayne has been anchoring news since 1998.
Extracurricular:
Jayne is a certified fitness instructor and has a blue belt in Martial arts. Jayne also spends a lot of her time supporting animal rights.
What I Love About My Job:
"I love being told I'm considered part of a viewer's family. After all, we do come into their homes every night, which is a privilege. I'm constantly being told by viewers how much they enjoy what we do, and that we're doing a great job. I've met such lovely people over the years."
