Provincial Conservative Leader John Tory brought his campaign to get guns off the street to London on Thursday ( Sept. 8th ).
He said much of his campaign to be Mayor of Toronto 3 years ago centred on getting guns under control, and the situation there has only got worse.
Tory also pointed out that crimes involving guns aren't foreign to the Forest City, alluding to the recent robbery of Anstett Jewelers and the ensuing shoot out.
He accused the Attorney-General and the Liberal government of have their priorities wrong, saying that if they spent as much time pushing for reform of the criminal justice system as they do on pit bulls some long overdue changes might be made.
