Money, Money, Money!
Statistics Canada says an undergraduate student will spend an average of 42 hundred dollars a year on tuition alone. The average post-secondary school student owes about 25 thousand dollars when he or she finishes their education. However, there are millions of dollars worth of scholarships available.

TIPS FOR APPLYING FOR SCHOLARSHIPS
- Start Early! Do your research ahead of time. Don't leave it until the last minute.
- Get Involved: Extracurricular activities, volunteer in the community(many schools suggest getting involved in activities as early as grade 9).
- Be Organized: prepare a file of awards, certificates, letters of reference, work experience.
- Read the application form and follow directions carefully.
- Time Management: Applications can take up to 10-20 hours or more to complete.
- Be aware of deadlines.
