Wine Good For Gums

Drinking red wine may help fight gum disease.

Scientists in Quebec City are studying the antioxidants in red wine and grape seeds and their ability to combat periodontal problems.

Experts say more than 80 percent of people have some form of gum disease, from gingivitis to periodontitis.

Researchers say lab results have revealed the polyphenols may help limit bacteria-linked gum inflammation.
