Cavities And Mercury Poisoning?

For many years dentists have used silver amalgams, which contain some mercury, to fill cavities.

That has raised concerns about what effect the mercury might be having on brain and kidney function.

However, researchers in New England have finished a study that has determined there have been no brain or kidney problems in kids who've had cavities filled with silver amalgams compared to those who've received white composite fillings.
