Diet And Alzheimers

A study in the Annals of Neurology suggests that choosing a Mediterranean diet can reduce your risk of Alzheimers.

That means foods like fruits, vegetables, breads, cereals, olive oil, sea foods, and a little wine.

Researchers studied about 22 hundred people with dementia in New York City and found that those who avoided meat and dairy products and opted for Mediterranean foods instead lowered their risk for developing Alzheimers.

In fact, the risk dropped anywhere from 15 to 40 percent.
