Lung Disease And Wrinkles

Lung disease could be as plain as the wrinkles on a smoker's face.

British scientists have found that middle-aged smokers who faces were heavily lined were 5 times as likely to have Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease as smokers who had relatively smooth faces.

Smokers who are aware of premature facial wrinkling might want to be screened for COPD.

The World Health Organization is predicting the lung disease will become the 3rd leading cause of death worldwide by 2020.
