GAS
Oil prices are soaring, setting new records yesterday of 75 dollars a barrel.  That has people once again wondering how to beat the pumps.

We bring you a local innovation that is catching on with wireless customers across the country.
All you have to do is send an e-mail from your phone to
prices@getgas.ca
and in the subject has to be your city and province.

Stewart Reynolds, of Stratford, has created
http://www.getgas.ca

It is a website that automatically sends text messages with current local gas prices to cell phones and blackberries.

So far, reaction from the public has been good, but police have some concerns about messages distracting drivers.
BUT as long as they pull over,
Drivers are the key to making the new service effective.
