Preventing Food Allergies In Children
The experts now say the best way to prevent food allergies in children is by waiting to feed them certain foods.

Doctors say breast feeding only a child for the first six months is best.

They say introducing solid foods during the first four months can result in the development of allergies up to age 10.

Foods should also be introduced one at a time, and in small amounts.

Some allergists also say parents should wait until their child is at least one year old before giving him or her dairy foods.

They also say parents should wait until their child is 3 years old before introducing peanuts, tree nuts, and sea food.
