Anti-Cavity Gum
A German company is working on a gum that provides a one-two punch in preventing tooth decay.

The gum contains a "friendly" lactobacillus bacteria that actually fights the streptococcus utans bacteria that cause cavities.

The company says the gum reduces the amount of harmful bacteria in the mouth by 50 percent.

It could hit the market by 2007.
