It seems that botox injections do more than just smooth out wrinkles.
New research in the U-S suggests they may relieve pain in people suffering from osteoarthritis.
Patients in the study were given a shot of botox directly into their knee joint.
Those already suffering from severe pain experienced less discomfort and showed a 25 percent improvement in knee function.
