Home Sales Set Record

London's real estate market remains white hot.

Annual sales hit an all-time high in 2006 with more than 8900 units sold.

The average price of a home last year was just over $188,000, up about 6% from 2005.

Even though prices continue to rise, it costs much less to buy a home than in similar sized communities such as Ottawa, Kitchener-Waterloo or Hamilton.
