After 29 days, the London Transit strike is over.
Unionized workers voted 72 percent this afternoon to accept a new contract that runs for three years and nine months. The deal includes improvements to wages and benefits worth 13.2 percent over the course of the 45 month agreement.
The London Transit Commission says it will start to get buses up and running in four to five days after mandatory safety inspections are carried out.
They also promise refunds for anyone who purchased a transit pass for November.
