Husband Leaves Haiti Through Dominican Republic

A Sarnia woman and her Haitian husband have been reunited after being separated by the earthquake that devastated Haiti.

Franzy and Stacey married in Port-au-Prince last November, after meeting in an English class.

They had planned to return to Canada, but the earthquake struck before Franzy obtained a visa.

He was able to make his way to the Dominican border where Stacey met him, they obtained a visa, and flew back to Toronto.. completing a story of love and determination.
