The Labatt 24 Hour Relay has crossed its final finish line.
And the recession is to blame.
With fewer teams and less money raised last year, there are fears another bad year could spell disaster for an organization already facing a budget deficit.
The Children's Aid Society will use other forms of fundraising this year, but only expects to raise half the cash generated by the relay. Education and support programs will likely be cut as a result.
