Constable Vu Pham Dies from Wounds Suffered On-Duty

Constable Vu Pham has died of his wounds, after being taken to London Health Science Centre following a mid morning shooting near Seafoth in Huron County.

The 37-year old OPP officer was involved in shooting incident in which witnesses saw gunfire being exchanged across a Huron County roadway.  The firefight broke out when Pham was answering a routine call and attempted to stop a vehicle.

The 70-year old suspect was also shot. He was taken to hospital but his condition is unknown.
