Pumpkin Fest Money Missing

Charges have been laid against a Port Elgin area woman after money went missing from the community's most famous festival.

Police have charged former Pumpkinfest Co-ordinator Lisa Irwin with 25 counts of forgery and theft for allegedly funneling over $65,000 from Pumpkinfest accounts into her own pocket.

Irwin appears in court on September 27th.
