Steve Young
Steve Young is the Managing Editor of A-Channel Windsor. He joined the station in 2003 where he oversees the Windsor newsroom. Prior to coming to the Rose City, Steve was the Senior Editor of The New NX in Wingham. While in Wingham he was the lead reporter covering the Walkerton water tragedy which made headlines around the world. He also covered the subsequent Walkerton inquiry.

In 1997, Steve was part of a team effort in winning the RTNDA Ron Laidlaw Award for coverage of the Durham Flood. Steve also anchored two weekly half hour television sports programs, as well as producing both ‘Behind the News’ and ‘The People’s Business’. Steve is a graduate of the Broadcast Journalism program at Fanshawe College in London. His career in journalism began at CKCO-TV in Kitchener where he was a news reporter and anchor for four years.

Steve is married and has one daughter. Personal interests include golfing, squash and tennis. An active member of the community, Steve played a significant role in Kincardine’s MS Supercities Walk, and served as Media Chair during the successful seven million dollar fundraising campaign for the North Huron Community Centre.
