'A' Morning Remote Host
Houida was born in London but raised in Windsor and is a busy, devoted mother of two young sons. She began as a volunteer with Rogers Television in January of 1999, as a reporter on ‘Plugged In’ and quickly became the producer and host of the weekly entertainment report on ‘Plugged In’ interviewing such artists as Soul Decision, B4-4, The Tea Party and attending and interviewing many of the artists at the Juno Awards for two consecutive years. Alongside of producing and hosting the entertainment, Houida also co-hosted a spot on Delaware Nights, a CASCAR racing series which aired across Ontario on the Rogers Television network. In the fall of 2000 Houida auditioned for ‘Daytime’, an afternoon talk show and was selected to co-host alongside Jeff McArthur of FM96. Eight months later she was hired on with 'A' Morning as the Windsor host.
