Christie is proud to be from Windsor Ontario and she's honoured to share stories with the community she grew up in. First attending Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri on a golf scholarship, Christie then transferred to the University of Windsor where she earned an Honours Degree in Communication Studies. Shortly after graduating in May of '05 Christie landed her first television job with /A\ News.
With a passion for her profession and the belief in journalistic integrity and ethics, Christie feels that a balanced approach to every story is essential in serving viewers.
She says of the Rose City: "Windsor is a city of great people, with world-class parks and a proud history. Its international dynamic makes it unique... a close knit community with the big city right next door. I believe in this city and the generations of hard working people who've come from here."
Personal
Raised by a single-father Christie is close with her family and enjoys spending time with friends. She is also very health conscious and is an avid golfer and runner.
