Priya was born in Toronto and raised in Mississauga, but she fell in love with Windsor during a summer internship at /A\ News in 2008.
She graduated from Brock University with a Bachelors Degree in Communications and then earned a post-graduate journalism diploma from Humber College. She began her career as a volunteer reporter at Rogers Television - Peel Region. During that time, she produced a five-part political series, guest-hosted a variety of programs and helped support vital charities in her community. Priya then moved to Kamloops, B.C. where she worked as videographer for CFJC News.
Priya is extremely impressed by Windsor and the community here: "It never ceases to amaze me, how giving and hard-working the people of Windsor are, even when faced with the greatest of challenges."
She is an avid runner, passionate animal lover and a fan of documentaries.
