Mike is a native Windsorite and graduate of the St. Clair College Print Journalism program. He feels honoured to be part of /A\ News-Windsor.
Previous to working at /A\ News. Mike \worked for several print publications including The Toronto Sun, Windsor Star, Timmins Daily Press and Northern Daily News. He was also part of the Windsor-based "City Scene" weekly newspaper in the mid-90's, and later, managing editor for an online news provider. A film buff, his work has appeared in Rue Morgue and Scarlet Street Magazine. Also with the local arts scene, he become known as a singer/drummer with several area bands. And he also worked as a blow-by-blow commentator for boxing telecasts on FSN-Detroit and Comcast Cable.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, Kathryn, and son Myles, collecting pop culture, and listening to jazz, art rock and old-school alternative.
