Cristina was born in Toronto and raised in the GTA, but actually grew up in Windsor. "I came to Windsor to study politics at the university. But I also learned a lot more about myself along the way."
After earning an undergraduate degree in at the University of Windsor, Cristina earned a Master's degree in Canadian Politics from Queen's University, and a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Ryerson. Before joining /A\ News, Cristina worked for several Hamilton-area radio stations, flew around in a chopper delivering traffic reports for many Toronto-area stations and worked as a producer and reporter on multiple national, current affairs series with the Breakout Educational Network.
She's thrilled to be back in Southwestern Ontario: "Windsor is a great news town. There's always something happening. It's not just a city, it's a real community. The people here have a great resiliency and a proud history, I'm honoured to get to share their stories."
Cristina is an avid animal lover and reader, and loves rock music.
