Anna Vlachos was born and raised in Windsor, and is proud to be part of a very diverse and giving community.
She graduated from the University of Windsor, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. A passion for writing and love for television led her to Spec's Howard School of Broadcast Arts in Michigan. It was at Spec's Howard that Anna fell in love with the News Industry. After several internships, she was able to realize her dream of becoming a reporter, landing a job at The New WI in 1999. Anna is also often seen as a back-up anchor for the station.
Anna says being able to serve the community has been a wonderful experience, and loves working with the team at /A\ News.
