Bryan grew up in Forest, Ontario and initially embarked on a career as a musician.
After several years on the road, he realized his true calling was broadcasting.
He returned to school, and graduated from the Fanshawe College Broadcast Journalism program in 1998, where he was honoured with a Radio Television News Directors Foundation scholarship. Bryan also holds a Bachelor of Professional Arts degree in Communications from Athabasca University, where he graduated with distinction. Bryan's first position as a reporter/newscaster was with CHOK Radio, in Sarnia.
From there he headed to Sault Ste. Marie, where he worked as a reporter and co-anchor of the MCTV evening news.
He found himself back in southern Ontario in 2003 as a video-journalist at /A\ News.
Bryan is happy to have come full circle, working at the television station he grew up watching.
