Jennifer Teague: Investigation Re-Focuses
It has now been 10 days since Jennifer Teague was last seen.

Police continued to go door-to-door searching for any clues about the disappearance of the 18-year-old Teague. To date, police have received over 400 tips since Teague went missing.

But hope is still strong in the community of Barrhaven she will be found alive.

More than 500 friends and neighbours came together Thursday night in a show of overwhelming support for the Teague family. They turned out for prayer and held candles, refusing to believe that Jennifer won't return home safe.

At the request of Jennifer's father Ed Teague the service focused on faith and hope.

"I have faith my daughter will be found," a passionate Teague said. "She will be returned and tonight we are going to pray, we are going to pray, we are going to pray! Until God answers."

Lee-Ann Goulden, a friend of Jennifer's, reiterated the message of hope.

"We will not stop until she is found," Goulden told A-Channel News. "We have made a pact that we will not stop until she is found."

Investigators say the next phase of the hunt for the missing teen is now underway. Canvassers will now be going door-to-door on the route Jennifer normally took home from work.

The six-day ground search which wound up Friday included helicopters, sniffer dogs, all-terrain vehicles and hundreds of volunteers.

At one point over 120 officers from three police services took part in the search. However, by Thursday afternoon there were fewer than 70 officers on the ground.

Police say they have received over 330 tips in connection with Teague's disappearance.

Thursday night's multi-faith gathering was the latest public plea by Ed Teague for his daughter's return. Wednesday night he and Jennifers mom pleaded with anyone who new where their daughter was to speak up.

"You may be somebody that has taken Jennifer. I ask you now as a father, just to reach down into your heart with some compassion, let her go, let her come home. I'm not going to judge you, I just want my daughter back," Jennifer's father told a crowd at the command post.

Her mother added through tears, "Jen,if you're out there and you can hear me, I love you, your brothers love you. We just want you back home. Please, please come home."
