Cornwall Woman Dead After Domestic Dispute

An apparent domestic dispute has led to the death of a 28-year-old Cornwall woman.

Dejo Ducross died of her injures in hospital Saturday night, an autopsy is expected to be performed today.

Police say the woman's ex-boyfriend, 33 year-old Terry White, allegedly forced his way into her home Friday afternoon.

He has been charged with attempted murder, however it is unclear whether those charges will be ungraded in the wake of Ducross' death.

White is scheduled to appear in court today.

A-Channel is looking for participants for this falls The Great Savings Challenge '07!

A-Channel will follow the financial progress of three Ottawa-area families. These real families will be chosen based on their need and their willingness to reveal and change their financial situation. We will work, in partnership with Brian Doyle & Paul Salewski of Doyle Salewski Inc., Gerry Doyle, Senior Consultant Investors Group Financial Services and Grant King, Ottawa-Carleton Mortgages Inc., with each of the families to design a strategy that will help solve their financial situation. We will follow their progress on A-Channel News At 6 with Sandra Blaikie.
