It whips you across the lake like a normal inner tube but takes extreme sport to a whole new level.
It's called the Wego Kite Tube, a relatively new form of extreme sport which is growing fast, but one family wants anyone heading out for some fun in the sun to leave the tube at home.
Dramatic video (see above) shows 21 year-old Dallas Koperski going out for another ride at Garner Lake in Edmonton, Alberta. As his dad rolls on the action, he catches too much air and crashes.
The 21 year-old seriously injured his head and neck.
Some sport stores says kite tubing is far too dangerous and will not sell them to customers. In the United States they have been banned in two states.
