It's been more than 24 hours since an overpass collapsed onto Highway 19 in Montreal.
The death toll stands at five. Several other victims are recovering in hospital and the Quebec government has ordered a public inquiry.
On Saturday afternoon a 20-metre section of the overpass collapsed trapping five victims in their cars. Fifteen hours later rescue crews recovered their bodies.
Crews will be cleaning the area for weeks and it will take a while for provincial police to figure out how it happened.
The Quebec government will call for a public inquiry into the matter.
The tragedy has prompted Transport Quebec to not only check other overpasses in the province but to close a similar overpass on Highway 19.
