Snow Removal Safety (SEE VIDEO)
Hiring a professional to remove snow on your roof will give relief to more than just your back.

- - - STORY CONTINUES BELOW IMAGE - - -
Almost two weeks after the winter storm blanketed the capital region, the snow is still causing havoc for residents.

All the snow is sitting atop many roofs in the city, and some homeowners are braving the elements to get rid of the snow themselves.

However, roofing experts say getting rid of the snow yourself is not the way to go.

Hiring a professional will ensure your snow is removed quickly, safely and with no damage to the shingles on the roof.

Experts say the average homeowner can expect to pay about $500 to get the job done, but ensure that homeowner insurance is up-to-date to avoid any problems.
