Two local native families made a desperate public plea to help locate their missing teen daughters, and after more than a month, their fight to bring the girls home alive and safe continues.
Maisy Odjick and Shannon Alexander went missing from the Kitigan Zibi Reserve in Quebec last month, and still have yet to be found. On September 5, Shannon's father says his 17-year-old daughter and her 16-year-old friend told him they were going out, and haven't been seen since.
There have been some reported sightings of the girls in the Vanier and Gloucester areas. The families of the missing girls say they have increased the reward amount to attract more attention from the public. The family has also created a website with more information on the disappearance. For more information and a detailed description of both girls, head to the official website.
