For the fourth time in as many weeks, a west-end convenience store has been robbed, and the owner is calling on the community to help.
The Frenz Convenience store on Carling Avenue was robbed at various times of the night in February, and owner Alice Jabon says her fear has now turned into frustration and anger. Jabon says the string of robberies have forced her employees to fear for their lives and jobs. Some have already quit because of the danger, and now others are on the verge.
Although the string of robberies at the Frenz store is alarming area residents, they say crime in the area is a growing trend that hasn't been properly addressed by police in the area. They want the police to step in with more police presence, to help keep crime to a minimum.
Stay tuned for the latest.
