Promotions Personality/Host
Alastair came to this profession via a much different route than most, stand-up comedy. Originally from Montreal, though he was born in Brockville, Alastair first stepped on the comedy stage at the tender age of 14. As the class clown, he did it on a dare. The rest, as they say, is history. He has since appeared at several Just For Laughs Comedy Festivals, had a nationally televised comedy special and toured the country with Yuk Yuks. In fact, he still performs regularly at Yuk Yuks Ottawa. He began his broadcast career as an entertainment reporter in Montreal and also did a brief stint in weather. His position in Promotions allows Alastair to capitalize on his talents and strengths whether it's hosting Bob-TV or emceeing a charity event, he loves to entertain and "keep 'em laughing".

What I love about my job:
"This is a truly exciting field and I love my job. It changes from day to day and you really have to be a 'Jack of all Trades'. I have met some really great people and come to love my newly adopted home of Ottawa".
