WWI Medal Found in Cardboard Box

VICTORIA - The City of Victoria is asking for your help in tracking down the family of a First World War soldier.  Last year, city crews found a First World War Victory medal in a cardboard box on Prior Street in Victoria.  After some investigating, the city discovered the medal belonged to soldier Major G.D. Walker and now they're looking for his family.  If you have any information about where his family might be, you are asked to call 'A' News at 250-414-6510.
