Torch Travels North

QUALICUM BEACH - It was an early start for people in Qualicum Beach today as the Olympic Torch relayed through their community. Tracy McMicking was the first person of the day to carry the torch, calling the experience exciting and thrilling. The torch then traveled through Bowser and Fanny Bay, where a husband and wife duo handed the torch to one another. The torch then visited a number of communities on its way to Campbell River.
