Royal Visit Day Two
VICTORIA - Staff at Government House are getting ready for the arrival of Prince Charles and his wife, The Duchess of Cornwall.

But they are going to be pushed for time as the Lieutenant Governor is hosting hundreds of BC government workers for dinner in the days leading up to the Royal Couple's arrive in Victoria.

The Lieutenant Governor's Principal Secretary says the house is nearly ready and staff will have all day Thursday to prepare.

Meantime The Prince of Wales visited Cupids in Newfoundland and Labrador today.  Cupids is where John Guy put down the first British roots in Canada in 1610.

Landing Charles and Camilla is a coup for the town.  Formerly known for fishing, the town now relies on tourism and celebrates its four hundred year anniversary next year.
