Backlog at BC Ferries Cleared Up (VIDEO)

NORTH SAANICH - Environment Canada issued another wind warning for Greater Victoria Thursday night.

It is the latest bout of bad weather to hit Vancouver Island and the South Coast.

B.C. Ferries says 59 sailings on 12 separate routes were cancelled on Wednesday due to strong winds.

Thursday afternoon a backlog left over as a result of the cancellations, finally cleared up.

The bulk of the backlog was on the route between Swartz Bay and Tsawwassen.
