Reporter / Anchor
Stephen started his career in television working behind the camera, directing and producing news, sport and talk shows. In Toronto he worked as a story and line producer at CTV on Canada AM.
For the past several years, Stephen stepped in front of the camera working for Shaw TV as a producer, reporter and anchor where he covered hundreds of stories on Vancouver Island and hosted a highly popular weekly talk show focussing on news and current events. Viewers across B.C. will also recognize Stephen from his hosting duties on "Media Buzz" and filling in on "Voice of B.C."
AWARDS:
In 2004, Stephen was the recipient of the "Best of the Northwest" award as producer and host of the weekly Shaw TV "Opinion Panel".
EXTRACURRICULAR:
A member of the British Columbia Legislature Press Gallery, Stephen is also a founding director of the new Victoria Press Club. He also works in the community hosting fundraising events and getting to meet people.
