Chatham-Kent CAS Facing Bankruptcy (SEE VIDEO)
Turning to the Province for Help

- - - STORY CONTINUES BELOW IMAGE - - -
The Chatham-Kent Children's Aid Society is running out of money... more than a Million dollars short of meeting its budget.

And the story is similar across Ontario. Right now, 47 of 53 Children's Aid Societies are facing a deficit, and 37 of those have appealed to the province for cash to avoid bankruptcy.

They need a combined total 0f $60,000,000.  And even if they get it they'll likely be in the same bind next year. If they don't get it, bankruptcy next year seems likely.
