Bob Bellacicco

Sports Reporter

After completing the Advertising program at St. Clair College in Windsor, Bob attended Spec's Howard School of Broadcast Arts in Southfield Michigan where he really caught the broadcasting bug. Bob gained some great experience volunteering at Cogeco Cable learning from some talented people who still look out for him to this day. His first "broadcasting job" was at CBC-Windsor working behind the scenes. In February '98, after 4 years at the CBC, Bob joined The New WI. He started as weekend reporter, and then worked on the morning show. However, his ambition has always been to do sports and in 2004 he got that opportunity. Bob has covered some great events like the NBA finals and the 2006 Superbowl but says his biggest thrill is being able to share in the achievements of our local athletes and teams. Bob plays in the LaSalle ball hockey league in the spring and plays pick up on the ice. He also enjoys spending time with his growing family.
