Reporter
Derek began his broadcast career working in radio in Sault St. Marie after graduating from the Broadcast Journalism program at Loyalist College in 1988. From there he made a quick transition to television and worked as a reporter and anchor in Sault St. Marie and Sudbury. He joined the 'A' News team as a reporter in May 1998.
