Scott Lightfoot was born and raised in London where he attended Orchard Park Public School and Sir Frederick Banting Secondary School.
He holds a B.A. in Media Information and Technoculture (MIT) from the University of Western Ontario, and a Bachelor of Journalism Degree from Ryerson University.
As a Londoner, Scott grew up watching many of the people he now works alongside.
The son of two teachers and no relation to one of Canada's most famous singers, Scott is glad to have found a job where he doesn’t have to write report cards.
Since joining 'A' News, Scott has had the opportunity to try writing, editing, shooting, producing and reporting. He is currently a reporter and the producer of the weekend editions of 'A' News.
